A past Premonition-
A premontion is a vision of the future, or distant past that you did not experience, plain and simple. I have personally had at least three natural premontions in the past, probably more. Most of which were useless, like for example seeing a scene from a movie before said movie was even created, useless. But I did once glimpse a physical altercation that had yet occured between myself and a friend, a fight which was never resolved. This premonition occured before I even met the guy and detailed a blow by blow account of the fight that had not occured. It wasn't until after the fight that I was able to associate the feelings of deja vu to forsight.
If I had taken heed of the vision I would still have my friend, and even though he probably would have stilll moved to live with his dying grandmother, I would still be in contact with him.
That is why I think knowing how to deliberately induce your own premonitions could be useful, and after discovering how to do so, on accident, I think it's the easiest thing in the world, almost as easy as sleeping.
What a premonition feels like
A premonition feels different from a regular dream, and more like a waking dream (A dream where a person is fully aware of their unconscious state and will have godlike control over their fantasies, consciously doing so, I might post another blog on that subject) with sensations such as the effects of gravity or simply being able to feel things that are either in reality, like the creases in you sheets, or in the dream you are having. This signifies that you are not entirely asleep.
Premonitions also have much more detail that regular dreams, such as much more advanced words being spoken, should there be dialogue spoken in your dream, and finer imagery in your fantasy suach asimperfections in wooden surfaces or entire pages of text that could potentially be read, not a single word or phrase but entire paragraphs which is much too complicated to be produced by a resting mind.
Step 1 (Might not be necessary)
My mind seemed to have been 'randomized' before going to sleep the night before my discovery. What does that mean? I had been reading countless different articles, that were unrelated to one aother, before going to bed. I was using a website called listverse, but the same effect, if there is any effect, could be achieved by have a dozen or so books, (preferably all of different genres because I had read articles on everythign from mysteries, to murders to survival stories) and read a single chapter from each book at random.
My sleep that night was restless, and my dreams random and numerous, most of my dreams were regarding the things that I had read about earlier that evening however several were of things I had never even seen before. I can clearly recall two.
The first thing I saw was a television add, one I had never seen before and I'm sure can be attributed to a strange dream, the second however is extremely bizarre.
I saw what appeared to be a transcript written in, what I think is an eastern language. I claim it to be an eastern language because it read from top right to bottom left, meaning you read down, starting from the top right reading down and then beginning from the gliph directly left of the furthermost right.
The language was in one I had never seen, and could not then locate, and the only reason I knew it was read from top to bottom was because of the verticle red lines that seperated each, what I ssume was a, paragraph. I have no evidence to point to it being read from the right, but I just felt like it did, I know it's not a convincing arguement. It was not chinese, japanese, any middle eastern language that I know of or indian, I have checked.
It was far too detailed to be a dream, and it had the same sensations that I mentioned before.
Step Two Go to sleep. That is all, but I suggest that you place a note book and pen next to your ben, on a nightstand perhaps, so that you may chronicle any dream or premonition. I failed to do this otherwise I might have been able to sketch a few simbols from the script I veiwed.
My premonitions all happened in the hour or two before dusk, so I was somewhat rested but still drowsy, which might have enabled me to enter some kind of "dream-like" state that is conducive to premonitions, should there bbe one.
I do not pretend to be a professional psychic, I do not pretend to be a psychic, I am jsut passing on what my strange experiences have produced, and how I think they were produced.
I do not know the causes of premonition. It could be a statistical phenomina, in that you may have a premonition for every number of dreams, a possibility supported by the fact that I had quite a few different dreams that evening. It could be a phenomina that is produced when in a certain mental state, such as an openess to the strange or supernatural, or when in a state between the dream and waking world.
I intend to duplicate the results of my accident and I hope that many a reader tries to as well, please leave any comments you may have.

Disclaimer: I truly believe in the Nature of science and that even though premonitions are real thay have a scientific explanation, whather it be backwards traveling atams( antimatter) or micrscopic wormholes in the cerebellum, or cerebrial cortex, or whatever. Ido not believe that any god is sending me visions and a advise you against the same belief.
